To remedy it without uninstalling it, go to your Device Manager, then to System Devices, and disable Citrix Virtual Bus Enumerator. I don't know that this causes issues in Phasmophobia or not but it will cause game crashes on start for several other games.if you use Citrix to work from home.Make sure you're hooked up to the graphics card (should you have one) instead of the integrated graphics.Try a different display port (should you have more than one).Pretty much get rid of anything that could be drawing power you don't use. Unplugging unneeded USB connections, like if you have controllers plugged in or unused USB hubs.Outside of what was already mentioned by you and others before me, I'd recommend: The light above the lens would be white with the headset off, orange/red with it on. The Oculus would say my Rift S was not powered, despite it working when I put it on. Red light above the lens happened a few times to me in the very beginning of getting the headset. However, there is still the issue of the frames skipping/stuttering.ĪNOTHER UPDATE: So now Boneworks is playing just like Phasmophobia: frame skipping and stuttering constantly. I check my PC, and Oculus tells me the displayport isn't plugged in. Whenever I load into Training (so I can get a handle on the controls) SteamVR crashes, and my headset gets that red light above the lenses. The room is lit up whenever I play, so room lighting shouldn't be an issue. The main menu lobby loaded okay, but there was a delay in my headset tracking. It wasn't until I tried playing Phasmophobia in VR that I started having problems. Super excited, mostly because I wanted to play Phasmophobia in VR.įirst thing I did was download SteamVR and bought Boneworks through Steam (Boneworks is a physics puzzle game for anyone that doesn't know) it ran perfectly. So a couple days ago, my Oculus Rift S came in. ![]()
